“Say Goodbye to The Home Brewery: Owners Retire After 40 Years of Business”
Rewritten Content:
After running The Home Brewery for a impressive 40 years, the power couple of Todd and Sheri Frye have announced that it’s time to close up shop. Earlier this month, they published a post on the Ozark-based business’ Facebook page which detailed their plans to retire.
“We’ve enjoyed our many years in the business, but it’s time for us to take on a new challenge,” the Fryes shared. “We can’t speculate on an exact date yet, but we’ll be taking orders as normal for the next several months.”
While the news may be disheartening for customers of The Home Brewery, the Fryes promised to consider offers and ideas from other hopefuls that may be willing to take their place. “We’d love for someone to carry on our legacy,” they noted.
The Home Brewery has long been a supplier of everything necessary for home brewing and winemaking, in addition to cheese making supplies. It first entered the picture in 1984 when founder Sam Wammack introduced it as a mail order business. From there, the Fryes purchased it in 1999 and eventually relocated it to its current address of 1967 W. Boat St. in Springfield, MO., in 2011.
